Close to the first anniversary of the passing of Prof. Pietro Enrico (for all Piero) Ferri, Rector of the Università degli studi di Bergamo from 1984 to 1999, The Department of Economics has scheduled a workshop on the scientific legacy left by the professor. 

Professor of Economics, with important international awards, Prof. Ferri has contributed to the growth and development of our University: we remember in particular the establishment of the Faculty of Economics and Commerce and the University of Engineering in Dalmine, but above all the decisive role that Prof. Ferri had in the crucial passage of 1992, when the University became a state institution.

The workshop will be attended by colleagues and experts, national and international. Family and friends will also take part.  The event will be concluded by Rector Sergio Cavalieri.
